  1. 40 degrees and raining…. Its Trooper time! Thanks Tim. I lost yesterday was up 50. Guy opens for 25. I been folding for 2 hours. (1 limp in front of him). I'm in small blind. I look down at 2 red kings. I know he has aces but I can't just pass right? I call, limp calls. Queen 4 7. I check. Limp checks. Aces makes it 40. Call call. Turn Jack ( queen 4 7 jack) 2 checks and aces goes all in. I fold, and 77 snap calls. Did I play this hand badly? Should I of just folded perflop? I honestly was 90% sure. I left losing 30 dollars.

    1. This guy ^^^^ (Mass flow) is just paraphrasing Bart Hanson….

Not a single person even acknowledged you had KK pre, none of those ppl are folding to a single raise to $25 pre. Half or more are 3 betting. If the guy shove 4-bets, then you can fold KK pre, if you know he’s only doing that with AA, which the majority of 1/2 players are doing.
Some may interpret your 3-bet as a squeeze from the SB, making his range a little wider, unless he’s a tight nit
Even then, most of these ppl cannot fold KK pre
      End of story

    2. taxi5969 OK, he stated clearly he KNEW his opponent had AA… so tell me why I would not find a fold when I know I am behind 100% of the time… If we are assuming it's a field player you are correct, but that was NOT the question Andy ask, Andy said he KNEW his opponent had AA. So tell me why he would be wrong to fold knowing he is getting the worst of it, unless he thinks he can get it back on implied odds for a 7 out of 8 times fold post flop in that spot?

    3. MassFlowRate he KNEW? From a single raise .. That in of itself is the crux of the problem. Sounds like He’s seeing way to many demons and playing scared
If reraised, his statement holds more credibility… even then he wouldn’t know, though suspect.
By default either anyone who raises (or opens the pot) has AA. Or he knows this guy only open raises w/AA

    4. I agree, I would not fold preflight to a 3bet pre with KK, I would most likely 4 bet All-in. But I was answering the theoretical question I was ask. Holding AA or KK versus a raise I will pretty much shove, knowing I am ahead more times then I am behind. Long term I would come out ahead. Without getting into the question of how he “knew” his opponent has AA, I was answering the theoretical question he ask is all. I don’t otherwise disagree with your points.
